A proper wedding ceremony without a premium celebrant fee
Most of the cost of a Tasmanian wedding is the venue, food, and drinks. The ceremony is the part that actually marries you, and it should not blow the budget. The Wedding Ceremony Package gives you a fully personalised ceremony for larger weddings of 20 or more guests for $1,600 including GST, with planning meetings and a PA system included.
We write the ceremony with you, so it tells your story and sounds like you. Your guests get a ceremony they can hear, follow, and enjoy, with our PA system and microphone so the back row hears your vows too. You get your vows, your rings, any readings or rituals you want, and every legal requirement handled by an authorised celebrant, including registration of your marriage.
It is the right fit for affordable weddings, backyard weddings, restaurant weddings, and small Hobart celebrations where you want the ceremony done well, without paying for a bigger production than you need.
How it compares to our other packages
If you only need the legal marriage, the $700 paperwork-only marriage is the cheapest professional option in Tasmania. If it is just the two of you or under 20 guests, the $1,400 elopement and micro wedding package gives you a personal ceremony without the bigger production.
The wedding package is for larger weddings. The ceremony is written and paced for an audience, we meet with you to plan it, and we bring the PA system. We also plan the practical parts with you: where everyone stands, when you walk in, who signs as witnesses, and what happens straight after.
